Hi, I’m Lautaro.

I’m a Senior Data Engineer. I’ve mostly worked at consultancies, on data projects for clients across different industries, and I also have product experience. I build complete data platforms, from the moment data comes in until someone uses it to make a decision, and I aim for them to be clear, reliable, and easy to evolve.

Experience

I started in technical support, working very closely with accounting, sales, and logistics, and in many cases doing those teams’ tasks directly. There I got tired of repetitive work and began automating it with Python, SQL, and APIs. I then landed a Data Engineer job at a Big Data & Analytics consultancy, and from there worked on projects for different clients and industries, building pipelines and platforms on AWS, Azure, and GCP with tools such as Databricks and Snowflake. At Decentraland I led the Data Engineering and Analytics function: I cut Snowflake spend by ~44%, removed 30% of redundant dbt models, reduced the data SLA from 3 hours to 45 minutes, and mentored a junior Analytics Engineer. Today I’m at Blueprintdata, building end-to-end data stacks, semantic layers, and analytics-oriented agents for different clients.
